Aerolit

We are delighted to announce that we are now importing into the US the titles of the small private German publisher Aerolit. The first three books in the series have now been published. All are written (in German) by former serving members of the East German NVA - LSK/LV and contain many exclusive new photos of aircraft in East German military service before 1990. All Aerolit titles are published in very limited quantities. Once we have sold out, we will not be able to restock.

New and in stock:

AEROLIT 005.'Red Fields - Russian Military Airfields in Germany 1945 -1994' (US$65)

An amazing German-language book, which carries on where Lutz Freundt's four-volume series 'Soviet Air Forces in Germany' left off. The 300 profusely illustrated pages (575 photos) cover not only the airfields, units and aircraft deployed in the GDR, but also cover the post-WWII Luftwaffe airfields in Eastern Prussia (Koenigsberg/Kaliningrad, etc.), Pomerania, Eastern Brandenburg and Silesia (now Poland).

AEROLIT 006 'Wall Flyers - The Berlin Air Corridor and Tempelhof Airport' (US$22)

German-language photo-album documenting the history of the Corridor from 1945 to 1990. Another 'must-have' book from Lutz Freundt for students of the Cold War and modelers alike. 168 pages, 300 photos.
