This Chinese kit maker has been expanding into area of Russian/Soviet kit subjects, with some success. Since we offer numerous decal options for the kits listed below, we have also decided to stock the kits to go with them:
Although the detail in this new-tool 1/48 scale kit very nice for the price, the cockpit could benefit from the addition of a NeOmega KK-2 ejection seat...
The kit is not actually a Mi-8T, it's a Mi-8MT late version. As we speak, our friends at Heliborne are working on a number of upgrade sets for this kit. The good news is that HB is the first manufacturer to get the cockpit glazing correct on a 1/72 scale Mi-8.
Another impressive job by Hobby Boss. Yet again, expect to see some upgrade parts for this kit from Heliborne. By the way the Linden Hill Resin Mi-24RKhR parts will fit the kits (as will the Italeri/Zvezda canopy).
