Prop and Jet

NEWS UPDATE:

The owner of Prop & Jet thankfully is on the way to full recovery, following a serious illness. There will be some changes to his line, though. The weapon sets will be phased out of his product line. Once sets sell out, we will not be able to restock.

Instead of bombs and other such lethal stuff, P&J will now be concentrating on producing more of their excellent detail/conversion sets. The next releases will include various sets for the Condor MiG-25 series of kits, including detailed resin burner cans, KM-1 seats and a MiG-25RB conversion set. Other new items, due hopefully in late November, are a full MiG-21PF conversion set for the Zvezda MiG-21PFM (enabling the modeler to build arguably the definitive MiG-21PF in 1/72 scale) and a resin nose correction for the 1/72 scale Condor/EE/ICM MiG-29 series of kits. We will announce more exciting releases when we are allowed to so to do!

Prop & Jet is based in Nalchik, capital of the Russian Caucasus Republic of Karbadino-Balkharia. In addition to Prop & Jet, the republic is also home to Europe's tallest mountain, Mount Elbrus!

We are delighted to announce that we have concluded an agreement Prop & Jet for Linden Hill Imports to become P&J's exclusive sales agent for North America.

P&J's resin detail sets complement their excellent range of vacuum-formed kits. We hope to begin importing the kits also in the near future. Please note that the photos below are of the prototype sets. The actual production sets are even better!

All sets come with comprehensive instructions in English and Russian. They include information on which sets are appropriate for which aircraft.

Introducing Prop & Jet Kits

The NV-1 is a brand new resin kit with a clear acetate sheet of parts also included. The remaining kits are vacforms with white metal parts and Begemot decals (where appropriate).  All P&J kits are very limited edition releases:
