Linden Hill, Ltd. was founded in 1998 and, via Linden Hill Imports, has been serving modelers with an interest in hobby products and aviation literature from Russia and other successor states of the USSR longer than any other US company.

Our Linden Hill Decals brand offers modelers a unique selection of military aviation subjects, mostly related to the USSR, Russia, Ukraine and the other now independent nations which were formerly part of the Soviet Union.

Our decal productions are the result of months of research, using primary sources of information wherever possible. Our network of local friends, colleagues and contacts means that we can often gain access to unique source information on colors and markings of aircraft in those countries. Our decals are always printed to the highest standards using the best printing studios worldwide.

SHIPPING POLICY

In the labor-intensive bad old days (March 2018) we used to process every order manually and apply shipping accordingly. We have tried to keep our old shipping policies in place, but there will be some anomalies when you use the new shopping cart system.

We set domestic US shipping rates by order value. The rates are broadly based on heavier items requiring packing boxes, such as AKAN paint bottles. In most cases it would clearly cost less to ship a package consisting exclusively of decal sheets. In those cases we will credit you the difference between the quoted shipping rate and the actual cost. 

You will also find that shipping rates for some Latin American and Asian countries do not yet show up in our system and you may not be able to place an order directly. In those rare cases you may need to contact us directly to process your order and send you a pro forma invoice for payment. Thank you in advance for your patience in this regard.

With the exception of Brazil and Mexico all international shipping rates are USPS First Class Airmail. They do NOT include tracking. USPS Registered Airmail incurs a $17 surcharge. If you want this option, please contact us via E-Mail and we will bill you separately for the registration charge.

The shipping rates for Brazil and Mexico are USPS First Class Registered Air Mail, which includes a tracking number. Past experience has compelled us to ship to these countries only via Registered Air Mail. Thank you for your understanding.
